Home of the annual Colfax Persimmon Festival
On a historic farm with structures dating back into the early 1800s or before, the Annual Colfax Persimmon Festival celebrates the native American persimmon and historic farming with a wide range of exhibits, demonstrations, arts and crafts, live music, and of course, many persimmon-related items for purchase.

The 2016 event was held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Admission fee: $10 for ages 12 and older; $2 for ages 6-11; free for ages 5 and under.
Please do NOT bring: pets, coolers, alcohol.
PARKING: Free parking will be coordinated off-site at Shady Grove Church (119 N. Bunker Hill Road). Shuttle service will be arranged to and from the Festival site further north on Bunker Hill Road. If your vehicle has a current handicapped tag, please ask at the church about handicapped parking at the Festival site.
The Festival's new heated/air conditioned shuttle buses joined the event in 2014.
